Unforgettable Moments of Unity and Inclusivity at the Inclusive Playdate

Singapore, 8th August 2023 – The spirit of inclusivity and unity was brought to life in a remarkable way during the recent Inclusive Playdate event, where passion for wheelchair basketball was celebrated with heart-warming enthusiasm.

Jieru, an Occupational Therapist who transforms into a spirited wheelchair basketball supporter after her day job, guided students from Chung Cheng High School (Main) through an unforgettable experience. With her expert guidance, an environment of inclusivity and camaraderie flourished, creating lasting memories for all involved.

The day's vibrancy was amplified by the dynamic participation of dedicated volunteers from the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC). The energetic engagement of volunteers Jing En, Marius, Charmayne, Nathaniel, Sofeena, and Syafinaz elevated the event's spirit, leaving an indelible mark on each game played.

"We are deeply appreciative of every individual who contributed to the success of the Inclusive Playdate," said Farrhan, President of the Wheelchair Basketball Association. "Their commitment to inclusivity and their collective efforts truly made this experience something to cherish."
