Jakarta, 29th June 2024 – The final day of the 2024 SEA 3x3 Training Camp and Competition was filled with high-stakes action as the Singapore team fought valiantly for a 7th place finish. Held at the Fullbelly Sports Hub in Bogor, Indonesia, the finals stage saw our team push their limits in a nail-biting match against Bandung Barat.
Singapore, 13th August 2024 – In a spirited display of community engagement and inclusivity, the Wheelchair Basketball Association (WBA) hosted a memorable CSR event in collaboration with the National Robotics Programme (NRP), A*Star, at a sheltered basketball court in Bukit Batok. The event, aimed at introducing the exciting world of wheelchair basketball to the NRP team, was met with enthusiasm and energy from all participants.
Singapore, 13 June 2024 – In an enriching educational endeavor, a group of first-year Occupational Therapy students from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) recently visited the Wheelchair Basketball Association (WBA) as part of their learning journey. The visit, facilitated by their 'community teacher' Mr. Samy, offered an immersive experience into the life and leisure activities of an individual with a disability.
